The Day The Snow Danced

It was one morning
Deep in January
I heard a strange ploop
And became very wary
I went outside
To see that the world
Became a soft, delicate blanket of snow
To my suprise
I found myself yelling
“WOAH!!!”
There were icicles on the roof
And our car
It looked as though a blizzard hit
Everywhere; Near and far
White, glistening snowflakes
Fell from the sky
While a blustery, freezing wind
Traveled by
Small saplings saw this
As well as old, big trees hinter
Oh nothing was so great
As that wonderful winter
Snowflakes whirled
They pranced and pranced
There were so many of them now
It looked as though they danced
